Procedure For Surrendering

First step in the rehoming process is to contact your representative. We know Lhasa Apsos are a very challenging breed and not for everyone. Many times though, we can offer you advice or options you may not have considered. Your representative can be found here. If it is agreed after communicating with your representative that rehoming is the best alternative, please submit one of the Surrender Forms below.

Alternative To Surrendering

All dogs accepted into the American Lhasa Apso Club Rescue live in an approved foster home until they are adopted. We are not a shelter and do not have any other facility to care for adoptable dogs. Frequently we have no available foster homes, so we are unable to take the dog you wish to surrender into our rescue. We still want to help you find a good new home for your lhasa apso. We provide a listing service where people looking for a lhasa apso to adopt can read ads the owners have provided. To qualify, the Lhasa Apso to be rehomed must be spayed/neutered and up to date with core vaccines. Click here for the Owner Posting Info page.
